I think about Natalia and the Ukrainian School of Austin where every Sunday something like a hundred kids shows up to learn the Ukrainian language, art, singing, history.

And the goal isn't to dwell on the war that we all know continues to ravage on.

It's to give the kids a place that feels normal.

And that's not a small thing.

You know, it's a true gift that these families are giving to their children week after week.

And then there's the sheer scale of what this community has mobilized.

The Liberty Ukraine Foundation alone has run campaigns that raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in a matter of days and totaling over $21 million funding generators and equipment to help Ukrainian families get through.

The winter, supporting evacuation, absolutely, that's a round of applause worthy.

Supporting evacuation vehicles and sending kids who lost parents in the war to summer camp among many other humanitarian needs.

And lastly, Branch 147 of the UNWLA has made sure Austin doesn't just help from a distance.

They've stood on the Capitol steps to remember Ukraine's history and they found.
