My name is Natasha Harper-Madison.
I get the proud honor of representing East Austin.

It very rarely happens, so I look a little tickled today because it's special.
Today, musical titan and community builder Jimmy Blazer, he may have been born in Dallas, Texas, but for the past 15 years, he's called Austin Home, as our city is stronger for having you here.
Welcome home, by the way.
His musical journey began at just five years old, playing bass at his family's church.
And from that foundation of faith and discipline grew a career rooted in both excellence and community.
Arriving in Austin in 2011 to study audio engineering, Jimmy continued his musical training at District One's own Houston Tillotson University.
