Or dove, whichever the proper term is.
Whatever works for you.
It just kept kind of occurring to me that this is the crossroads of America, you know, from from literal senses of like I-35 and I-70 to the railroad switching yards and the Transcontinental Railroad to the Oregon Trail and the California Trail and all these things like this is where almost every thought, good and idea comes through.
And I mean...
to the point of the Western front of the civil war to like, it's not, this town's not Northeast, West or South.
It's a little bit of this weird swirling of all of it, which makes this town complicated.
It makes it really full of contradictions.
It's an incredibly divided city from the outset, but also what city unifies better.
And this story is one of them.
Like, how did we get the World Cup?
We came together like we do when we get behind something in this town, nobody comes together like we do.
It's a town that's incredibly diverse, yet has a terrible history of segregation.
It's like almost all of the things that make America a complicated place, you can find right here in Kansas City, more so probably than the cities on the coast, because they don't have the influences of all the other directions quite as much.
You might find more diversity in New York City on a global scale, but from a diversity of American thought,
This is like this is the middle of it all.
And it's and I actually think that's something I hope people see, too, because I think a lot of people probably I know a lot of people have images of what they think America is right now.
And whether you agree with that image or not, it's a lot more complicated than that.
I think we could agree.
And and Jason Sudeikis had a great line when I asked him about it.
He said, you know, Americans haven't exactly been known for their humility.
