But these young guys got to be exactly what the draft class was in 2022, which is durable, dynamic, and they're going to grow over the course of the season so that they can be ready when the Chiefs, if the Chiefs make the postseason, so they can be core contributors.

I say the story of the day is, or the story of the camp so far, would be Mike McCarthy and just how he has changed virtually everything about this organization and how they go about their business in such a small portion of time.

I mean, his attention to detail, and I don't know, you guys probably knew this more than me.

But his intention to detail is just off the charts here.

And that surprised a lot of people.

I think it surprised some of the players.

Definitely surprised me.

He's raring to go here.

Like I said, he's changed everything from the start of practice to how they go about practice.

They're not going to hit at all during training camp, which has been a challenge.

Steeler staple for years now, but how McCarthy has just taken over and you could tell that he's a 16 year veteran in this business of how quickly he's been able to get up to speed and knowing what he wants to do.

And he's been very, very impressive to me.

When he got hired here, a lot of people in Pittsburgh were like saying, what are they doing here?
