And so I we took um the amount of money that was announced in that funding round at that time and then divided it by the NVIDIA share price on that day.
Calculate the number of shares and then sum the number of shares that you would have alternatively bought uh with an NVIDIA with that six billion over the like the last six years.
What is that worth today versus like what is your investment in this basket of alternative like NVIDIA competitors?
And it's basically like six billion turned into thirty billion roughly, of which half is CamberCon, which is a Chinese listed company.
And then NVIDIA would be worth a hundred and twenty billion.
It's like twenty X in a liquid market.
Um so I don't
I don't really see how this is going anywhere.
Um, whether it's I think NVIDIA for sure is real and we have some really intr I think it's really interesting data, but just how much longevity that company has and its products.
So we chart um
the use of specific uh chipsets in published uh open source AI research.
Um every year.
And so there's like I don't know, tens of thousands of papers or something like this.
And um if you sum all the papers that um use NVIDIA chips versus all the papers that use TPUs, FPGAs, ASICs, Apple, Huawei, the sum of all NVIDIA papers versus the sum of all everybody else, the delta is like eleven times.
So it was nineteen times last year.
So it's it's it's dropping a little bit.
Um mostly driven by the growth of uh Google's TPU usage, which is up like five X year on year.
The the chasm is massive.
And and the other thing that's interesting is like the types of chips that researchers are using.
