But people can be vulnerable, you know, and get sucked into a story sometimes.
And that is why we're doing this, to try and hopefully let people out there know that these scams are rife at the minute and to be very vigilant about it.
No, definitely not.
Not in asking for money.
I don't know of any musician or singer that would be doing that, to be honest with you.
You know, trying to get money through people online.
Yeah, it's horrendous and I really did feel so sorry for the lady involved in the UK.
We got her free tickets to the show and brought her along and I had a good chat with her because her son was so worried.
So we took her backstage and sat down with her for 20 minutes.
But I could tell she was looking at me and just was like, is he telling the truth?
Because she fully was convinced that she'd been chatting to me for six months.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, I'd say the police are dealing with that now, and I really do hope they can get something back.
But obviously, it's going to be a long process trying to track down accounts in different countries and wherever the money's gone.

yeah we have done in the past yeah but obviously we've got a blue tick on Facebook and Instagram but again you know the scammers will have a blue tick within their profile picture so it looks like it's an actual you know blue tick account but there's no blue tick next to the name it's on the picture so people again can be easily scammed by that they think it's a legit account which is verified

Exactly.
So I think people do just need to be vigilant.
And if you've got especially elderly people who mightn't be used to technology and social media, maybe just advise them that these scams are happening and to be very vigilant.
