But is this an admission?
Do you think that wing is not his position or one of his positions?
Well, he's good in the air, as we've seen in his full-back outings.
doesn't have that necessary pace.
Don't know if he has much of a finishing ability because he hasn't had the ball in space in the manner that some wings would get.
Maybe they thought he could do a James Lowe light in terms of being a ball-playing winger.
But I think against Australia, he didn't really get on the ball that much, did he?
And I know he had a bit of time in the second half against Japan on the wing.
But I just think...
Yeah, it's not particularly natural to him.
And at least at fullback where he has a bit more time and space on the ball and can be that playmaker, which he likes to be, that makes a bit more sense.
Again, during the Six Nations as that second receiver, I thought he was outstanding at times, but in 15, not on the wing.
I don't disagree with that.
I think he would be for sure.
Center, Robbie Henshaw being unlucky not to be involved at all because I actually thought Ireland's midfield defense looked better, more physical and better connected against Japan when he was there than
And maybe a ring rose.
I know maybe ring rose offers a bit of a contrast to McCluskey in that there's a bit more lateral quickness and, you know, that flying out of the line if needed, etc.
But I don't know.
I just think on the balance of performances, I think Henshaw played better against Japan than ring rose did against Australia.
Yeah, I'd agree with that.
