And we got basically raised about twenty five thousand dollars.
But from that, ever since then, it's been bootstrapped.
Yeah.
I mean, it's amazing.
I mean, we've, there's, there's, there's some emotion there.
Um, we've, we've lived in our office for, for periods of time.
I mean, we, we've moved around to different cities to make this work.
I mean, we, we put in a lot of work to make this happen.
And, um, you know, in, in entrepreneurship, um,
You do some things right, but there's a lot of luck that goes into it.
We've had some successes, but we've been lucky as well.
I always point to the first summer we were starting and we had spent some time in San Francisco trying to raise some money.
No investors wanted to give two guys who were making t-shirt quilts any investment money.
I was back in Boston sleeping in our office and there was about $8,000 left in our bank account, probably just a couple more weeks of runway and
Yeah, we, I mean, you know, I, we, we were lucky and we're not, we weren't in debt and, um, you know, we could, we could always have moved back with our parents if, if, if that was necessary.
But, um, you know, yeah, we had, we had, um,
started other businesses that had not worked out.
We'd both dropped out of business school.
And so, you know, we really needed to make this work.
And so I was, so beginning of August, 2012, uh, with little money left, we, we were able to get Groupon to feature us, um, and to push us national and not take a percentage, um, because we were a social good business.
