Minimized CGT is now going to have to hunt through parcels to find
ones with a high price, but also it will have to evaluate whether the inflation method actually gives you a smaller gain than the old method with the CGT discount.
And then using that algorithm, kind of figure out which parcels are best to sell.
So it's going to be exciting to code that one up because that one's going to be quite fun.
But you can see from an investor compliance point of view and a record keeping point of view,

And so this is an important distinction because this gets people into trouble all the time.
So they do their tax for the year and then think, cool, I don't need to worry about the records going forward.
Yeah, July, August or whatever.
And what they're doing wrong there, and we see this a lot, is...
If they enter their ETF, AMIT data at all, it's just for that one financial year because they think, you know, it's just this isolated financial year, but they haven't applied it for all the historical ones first.
The other mistake is that in previous financial years, they used, you know, minimized gain and FIFO and LIFO and change strategies at various points.
But then come this year and just look at this year's one and don't update the previous settings.
And now you end up double selling things because Navexa doesn't know that this parcel back in the day is not available because you actually sold it already.
You technically recorded that one already.
And you can see in this kind of example here that there were some sell trades back in 2024.
how do we know which parcels out of all of these parcels they used, right?
So they might've used FIFO and there's only about what, 900 and 960 there.
If we use FIFO, they all came out of this parcel.
