I actually wanted to approach this with the intent each team had at the start of each season.

Like, you look at the Bucs right now, they definitely stink, but they came into the season, they got Miles Turner, they dumped Damian Lillard and all his money, and were really just all in, and it just didn't work.

So there was intent to be good, but they weren't.

But then you have teams like the Jazz and the Pelicans who definitely came into the season saying, I want one of those top three picks.

Well, except the Pelicans can't do that.

But they came in the season knowing that they weren't going to try to be a play-in team or better.

And by my count, we have about like seven bad teams that came into the season wanting to be bad.

And now there's like three additional teams that have

kind of involved themselves in that list now and it's almost the same as last year when i was trying to compare the standings between the last two seasons so i am kind of surprised by that but um yeah i think it's about the same as bad as it is if i had a european sports fan on this panel and if i would ask him like

I think one of the more practical ones would be to reduce the amount of games in the schedule by maybe eight games.

That's a popular that way you're getting rid of potentially seven back to backs, you maybe have two games, I mean, two nights off between games every now and then maybe you can have

more time off while on road trips.

These injuries are mostly due to the fact that I think players are having to play so much.

And there's so much ground to cover now in the modern day game with the corner threes and things like that.

And one of the other solutions I've seen is to get rid of corner threes.

The three-point line just ends kind of where it gets flat on the side of the court.

the defenses and the players' bodies don't have to travel as much during games, which could reduce the likelihood of those soft tissue injuries.

So those are two potential solutions, but I know owners do not want to give up that revenue with those games going away.
