And...

Even just starting a family was something that I'm gnawed about, whether that was a good idea, whether there was too much at risk, whether I deserved that, whether I could possibly put my own children through what I went through.

It's a lot of really, really heavy moral and ethical questions that were playing on my mind ad nauseum on repeat.

It's a dark cloud that hangs over my head and it will my entire life.
