What is it?
It would have been games for me.
The Argos catalog or the laminated book of dreams, as Bill Bailey calls it, was a good one.
And like Little Words and Freemans, as you mentioned.
But the thing about those was they did have a very limited selection of computers and consoles.
And then when you exhausted the three or four pages at most of that, you'd then go looking for loosely associated computer things like computer desks.
And then you'd try and look for computer chairs, anything to do with computers.
And there would invariably be an Atari 2600 or 5200 in there sort of a decade after it was relevant.
Argos always seemed to sell Atari consoles for some reason long after they were relevant.
But I was more interested in things like the Home Computer Club magazine when it came in.
Software for hard men, it says on the front there.
Did you sign up, Neil?
I know Dave did.
I didn't sign up.
I might have done the sort of the cheap trial and then cancelled immediately.
Could you do that?
Or were you locked in for 12 months?
You were locked in.
So I don't think I ever did it because I didn't want to get locked in.
There's the Amstrad one there.
