Again, it's part of a snippet, so we don't know the context of what he's saying, but he says that he's not suicidal.
which was a strange kind of phrase to use.
And he says that he wants to, I suppose the way we put it is he wanted to cut off any discussion of his mental state should he get into medical difficulty behind bars, right?
So this is the actual quote.
So read into that what you will.
What I understand that to mean is that if anything happens to him while he's now in custody, be it in Dubai or be it on the way back to Ireland, or perhaps even me suggesting in Ireland, that if anything happens to him behind bars, he's not a free man.
He didn't do it himself.
Maybe he's putting out there some sort of protection for himself because he genuinely thinks something might happen.
And he's saying to people, if it does, I didn't do it.
Is he firing some sort of shot across the bows of authorities to say, don't touch me?
That he's in fear of his life?
That's a really good question.

Why would he be doing this interview now?
Why would he start...
releasing this interview?
And why are these snippets just being released now on this imminent apparent return to Ireland?
He's already facing serious charges.
