But his personality and his ability to come up like in just a split second with some catchphrase or description of what was happening was unparalleled, I think.
Yeah, I would agree with that.
I can remember so many times
when he was tired, grouchy, whatever.
But as soon as the light came on, he became King's World.
And he did love what he did, really loved it.
He had very strong feelings for the Bulls and, in particular, Jerry Reinsdorf.
And he was a guy that it wasn't just
the grind of the NBA and doing the games that he loved, he just loved life.
I mean, it was amazing to me.
Sometimes we'd run into people on the street or in an arena or something, and he made every one of those people feel like he was the only person in the building.
Unbelievable personality.
And they're not going to make another Stacey King.
He was unique in his talent and his personality.
And he cared about people.
He really did enjoy people.
Yeah, it is.
And there, and there's, you know, there's the more traditional role where for a long time, up until probably the early nineties, uh, the play by play guy was, was the guy, he was kind of the star of the show, uh,
and the analyst was there as kind of a sidekick.
And I'm going to think back to probably Doug Collins was the first analyst who became kind of the face of the broadcast, even though he was working with Marv Albert and guys who were great.
