As a child playing international history?
How how did you how did you end up?
What what's the journey that takes you from childhood to I think it's Exeter University, doing your BS C, then going on to do your PhD and stuff, yeah.
Am I right in saying that before you took on that role at NHBS?
Uh you had actually been doing a little bit of editorial stuff for was it butterfly conservation?
Is there a link there?
I mean, when you were doing that, did you particularly enjoy doing that in a voluntary capacity and then thinking yourself, wow, I would love to do this as a paid job?
Are the two things totally just a coincidence?
Any thoughts?
Yeah.
Uh we're gonna take the first publication we're gonna talk about, which is British Wildlife, I think, from from memory, if my slide order is expecting it to be.
Uh but when we actually talk about British Wildlife magazine, there's a few things I kind of just wanna discuss generally as your role as an editor, okay?
Uh which will then set us up nicely to then go on to talk about the other two publications.
