KFI AM640, Neal Suvedra ja The Fork Report today, celebrating all things food, beverage on the beyond. Today we're talking about the Super Bowl, doing kind of an extended version of Technique of the Week, because, you know, this is a lot of snacks.
Snackit ovat hauskoja. MeillÀ on itseasiassa Snack Nights tÀÀllÀ kotona. MeillÀ on erityisesti sotilaslaitteita.
It's like a TV dinner plate, but it's like stinging steel or something. You put all the different snacks on there and it makes for a very fun movie night or whatever you're doing. Snacks are important to me. I think snacks and tapas and all of these things are quite fun because they're easy to eat and they've got all those fun ingredients that we like, like
But with tater tots. So here's the thing. If you have an air fryer, air fryers are basically the quintessential frozen food hack. Because every frozen french fry, every reheating, every frozen food snack just works beautifully. And they actually make pretty good burgers, by the way. My brother-in-law turned me on to this and I was like, holy hell, how did you cook this?
He were like, any air fryer? And they were delicious. So you air fry your tater tots. And they come out crisp and lovely, and that's important. You want them almost a little extra crisp on the outside. And then, the way I do it a lot that I really like, you get a good sweet and sour sauce that you like. Store-bought is absolutely fine.
You want to let it come to room temperature because you don't want to cool down the item too much. But what I do is I get a separate bowl for each of the sauces that I'm going to use. In this case, you get a bowl and then you squeeze some sweet and sour sauce in it.
Then you take, you put your tots in there and you toss them. So imagine this, you're holding on the left and right side of the bowl with your thumbs on top. You push it away from you, you slightly toss up and then pull it back towards you. And it kind of makes a circle where you're tossing those tater tots up into the air and over and over hitting different sides, same way you would with food in a pan, basically. But in this bowl you're doing it and that is just covering them.
ja tuon kauniin, syrjinnÀn ja syrjinnÀn sauseen. Sitten laitan heidÀt sopimukselle. Laitan sopimuksen sopimukselle henkilölle. Laitan heidÀt sopimukselle henkilölle. Laitan heidÀt sopimukselle henkilölle. Laitan heidÀt sopimukselle henkilölle. Laitan heidÀt sopimukselle henkilölle. Laitan heidÀt sopimukselle henkilölle. Laitan heidÀt sopimukselle henkilölle.
They eat it out of the bowl. And you can do that with a ranch-style sauce and maybe some chopped fried onions to put on top as an extra crunch to it. But you see where I'm going with this. It's just lightly tossing those tots.
I'm constantly blown away. And I learned this at a restaurant.
Yeah, a little cool bar restaurant had them as appetizers. And I'm like, wow, this is fantastic. And I experimented with a bunch of different sauces. And it's just, I don't know, it has that wow factor. I don't know if it's the color of it coming out. I don't know if it's the smells of it, the tater tots we all love. But just that little combination made for a killer snack.
the better. There's no need for you to go nuts or have, you know, any sort of extra issues when it comes to serving people at the house. So think of the sauces that you like. You could do it like with an eel sauce as well. Really goes well. Those of you who love sushi are familiar with a great eel sauce that's just absolutely delicious.
sesame seeds or something like that, or some of the French's crunchy onions or things like that. Just takes them up a notch. All right, a beverage when we come back for the big game. You're getting together for the Super Bowl, you're having people come over, you want to have some snacks and some beverages. Beer is always great, but here's a little combination for the beer lover and the cocktail lover, I'll tell you.
