So many times when you move these, you're only moving them a block or two or three because there's huge expense and obviously logistics in trying to relocate a building.

of this size.

You also have to think about temporary power and communications utility issues.

So you've got strong lines up and down many of the streets where you'd be moving this building.

So there is cost and major effort in relocating those utilities on a temporary basis.

You have to think about traffic management, traffic control when you're working with the building in the downtown.

And then, of course, you've got that hazardous material remediation.

So regardless of if you keep and improve the building where it sits or if it's moved, you would still have to many times address some of those hazardous materials, especially the asbestos issue.

But that's not to say that it hasn't been done.

Just to show you a few pictures here.

This is back in 1990.

And some of you may remember when this house was removed from the town hall campus to make way for the town hall parking garage.

So there is a precedent for it.

Many years ago, this building was moved from this campus here and moved down to Church Street.

And it's currently office space.
