I reckon once this weekend comes, things will start kicking off.
And by the time Ireland play New Zealand in Auckland later on in July, it's going to be fully, fully ramped up.
Like, Steno, if we're looking at what the Nations Championship wants to do.
The best example of what it can do is to look at, you know, look at soccer and look at the Nations League.
That was off the top of my head, I think like late 2010s that kind of came about and has essentially replaced so many of the completely meaningless friendlies that we would have had.
It's put structure on things.
It's put a trophy and a bit of competition on the line.
One of the criticisms against this new format would be the toll it's taking on the players and also just the environmental aspect of it as well, where there's so much more travel involved in this competition now, where in the past, for example, as you said, in 2022,
Ireland go down to New Zealand, they play three tests and maybe a couple of midweek games if you want as well, but they're all in New Zealand.
You go to Australia, you play a test series.
Maybe if you go to North America, you might do, excuse me, Canada and the USA or something, for example, or England go to Argentina last summer.
Whereas this time around, Ireland actually have a reasonable enough schedule.
They're going to Australia and then New Zealand.
They're playing Japan in Australia.
It's nice and easy.
France don't have that luxury.
They're going New Zealand, Australia, and then they're playing Japan in Tokyo.
England and Scotland, for example, they just have a crazy schedule.
England are in Johannesburg this week.
