But spare a thought with ten sprint races this year for the mechanics.

What my eye fell on at the end of the year is the final four races have three sprints.

And then you're already knackered.

These guys and uh these guys and women they work more out.

hours than we can fit in a day and now they they have three sprints at the end of the season.

It is going that is tough.

That is tough.

Yeah, I understand the Monaco bit is a further dilution of what F one used to be, but if you look at it in general, it is going to be a very tough season for the teams.

But that's not totally off the table because I I understand that there is uh there will be conversations at the end of the year at another FIA council meeting, World Council meeting, to see what the structure of the sprint weekends would be.

So this is basically calendar wise.

I think a lot of people are are uh thinking in the same direction as you are, uh Josh, that um sprint qualifying is too similar of a challenge.

Challenge to regular qualifying and it's from a TV standpoint quite difficult to explain.

Okay, so regular qualifying is twenty minutes in this segment, but now it's seventeen, or we do it on medium.

So it feels a little bit um artificially created in that sense, doesn't have a a a natural flow, and F1 has struggled in finding the the right flow of a weekend in a sprint weekend.

But I I know those conversations

are ongoing on the the actual nature of sprint qualifying.

So we'll see.

I uh one lap shootout at Monaco, I'm really all for that.

Well Cadillac would f vote in favour of that immediately.

Imagine though you've built a car that needs two warm-up laps and then they come up with a single lap qualifying.
