It comes with the territory.

And last year, I really had... So when I came in 22, it was troublesome.

Alex and I have spoken about this privately as well.

It was quite a difficult bit with a multitude of death threats, including very particular ones that they took seriously.

That has ebbed away.

But last year, in the fight between Lando and Max, I got really skewered by fans for being too pro-Max.

Or being too pro-Lando and it was imbalanced.

I thought, okay, I'm doing my job right because everybody's pissed off and that's okay.

Also logical because it's a news bit, right?

Taking it back, though, to the bias of it all, we had a bit of a point to prove with teams like Mercedes when we came in because we came in sponsoring Max.

If you look at his NLS car, the Mercedes.

Yeah.

It's this big, the stickers on the car for Viaplay.

And that's how we have, it's something we needed to do to get the Dutch audience on board because we needed Max on board.

And we have a very good working relationship with him.

But to make sure that I am independent of that is very important to me.

Because I don't want to be anybody's best friend in the paddock.

I want to be on friendly terms with everybody, but I need to be able to say what I think on air and not think, oh, I'm going to piss someone off.

And that's just in your brain a balancing act.
