And navigating the opening lap uh with twenty one other cars on track is the name of their game.

And now they might have to do it twice, well at least for ten times this year and coming season, but yeah, who knows in the future.

But I d I I don't have so much of a problem with that.

Uh for me the most interesting one is is is there going to be

a situation and I think it's unlikely, but where a team is markedly better with little or no preparation than other teams.

We haven't seen it this year as well.

But say McLaren is so much better at finding a sweet spot or Red Bull with one free practice that they just rack up the points more easily in a in a sprint weekend compared to other teams.

That

would um uh skew the season a little bit, but then it's simple.

They knew what the calendar was, they've done a better job.

No, they are not.

Uh I think uh there needs to be a change either in compounds use.

Maybe you need to use a a super soft, super, super, super soft uh sprint tire alone, but there needs there needs to be uh a perhaps a focus on how they make how to make them work from a sporting side because too often we see a little bit of jeopardy at the at the

front and at the beginning of the race and then nothing and especially if you get around the the the points paying positions but people are just outside they're not taking any risks because um there's too much on the line for the day after or the session after even uh on a Saturday the qualifying.

Also I don't know how you find it, but I find the the the break between a sprint race and then the qualifying

Very long and very discombobulating because you have to if you're dealing with a race and then there's a three hour wait or well at least a three hour delay and then you're on to uh another qualifying.

It's it's it I'm still not used to it.

I like the concept uh from a commentating perspective I already said I enjoy them, but the the rhythm of the weekend is still a bit foreign to me somehow.

From a sporting side I think it's more pure now uh because yeah that felt extra gimmicky.

Um I just would well w say we take your point of view of doing shootouts for sprint qualifying.
