My name is Nesh Nikolich, and today I have the privilege of speaking with Associate Professor Stacy Parker, an organizational psychologist and academic at the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland.

Stacey's research focuses on helping organizations and their employees balance the dual goals of feeling well and performing well, examining how people manage their energy at work, recover from stress outside of work, and how jobs and careers

can be designed to support wellbeing, motivation, and performance.

Alongside her academic work, Stacy's consulting work has spanned selection and recruitment, training and development.

career management, work design, change management, and oper operational safety.

Stacy serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Occupational and Organisational Psychology.

Journal of Occupational Health Psychology and the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.

Stacy's contributions have been recognized by the Australian Psychological Society with both a doctoral thesis award in occupational health psychology and an early career award in organizational psychology.

I really enjoyed speaking with Stacy and discovered some genuine.

Wonderful insights that I'll definitely be using to manage my how I feel about my own work, both in and out of work or away from work.

not only uh feeling well in the workplace but performing well, sometimes those two worlds appear to be in contradiction of one another, but uh I think that might be a a fallacy and you know, who better to have that conversation with than yourself?
