They are the neighbours who said they were living across the road from Nikita Han at the time of the incident with Conor McGregor and they said that they'd seen her former partner, her partner at the time, assault her on the night that she sustained the injuries that she said came from McGregor.

So,

That was obviously denied.

And this case, so basically they were trying to bring that in as part of an appeal.

McGregor was trying to appeal the civil case, which he lost.

Nikita Hand was awarded 250,000 euro in damages against him.

And basically this was bombshell new evidence.

It hadn't been brought up in the original trial.

And then on the day that the appeal was due to be heard, Conor McGregor's defence team dropped this case.

And then in the aftermath, then Stephen Cummins and Samantha Riley were arrested in relation to alleged perjury offences.

They were released without charge.

And then Nikita Hand lodged a civil suit, basically suing them for damages.

No.

Yeah.

Yeah, and so it was basically, so when people say, so like I was actually, because I was doing the headline for that story on Monday and it was a difficult one because you want to try and like a default judgment is a kind of a legal term.

You want to try and get it across, but it was also, it wasn't that it was,

a case heard and they deemed, you know, Nikita Hahn has won this.

It was because, as you said, they didn't turn up.

They didn't do anything to even, I don't think they even responded to her defence team.

So that was entered in for that reason.
