They loved teaching, but being a good teacher doesn't equal being a good studio owner.
And then you've now got the thing where Pilates is becoming so big that you've got business owners who know nothing about Pilates coming to open studios.
And that has another challenge because those studios then they don't understand this modality.
They don't understand how to get the best out of teachers.
You've got lots of studios where
If we accept it's a confusing marketplace for consumers, it's also a confusing marketplace for teacher training.
Teacher trainings have wildly different styles, ethoses, the way that we program classes, wildly different.
And a lot of those studio owners who maybe don't understand Pilates are seeing that somebody's coming in
With a Pilates teacher training certificate.
And they can teach whatever they want.
And then the experience for the clients is poor.
Because the client is going to one teacher and being taught one way and going to another teacher and being taught a vastly different way.
And so I think there's a lot of work in running a studio to get the money right and to also get the delivery of the experience right.
And you need both of those for the studio to then be profitable and sustainable.
I think I do.
I I I have teachers who graduate from my teacher training programs being interviewed at a studio who is being run by someone who doesn't understand Pilates, but maybe they've got great business sense.
And they're asking this brand new teacher, can you come up with the names of the class?
How do we level it?
Who d you know, how do we include how do we price it?
