Good to be with you, Don.
Yeah, I think it's, I mean, it's very serious.
Effectively, Israel started a war with the aim, it increasingly seems, of overturning the Iranian regime, not just of taking out nuclear sites.
And so it has expanded from nuclear targets to energy targets to political targets and others.
But
it's, I think, pretty clear that it can't actually achieve that aim of ending the regime or indeed of wiping out the nuclear program on its own.
And so now, you know, it is asking the U.S.
to move in and use American bunker busters to take out the Fordow enrichment plan.
And so now President Trump is going to be making a
decision about whether the U.S.
should join that war, which I think would be a mistake.
But, you know, there's a real risk this then escalates, maybe closes the Strait of Hormuz, raising oil prices.
I mean, there are lots of things that can go wrong and, you know, some kind of a deal, which I think is the best path to actually containing the Iranian nuclear program.
You know, for now, we don't seem close to that.
I, you know, I.
It's really hard to see exactly where this goes.
There are a couple of options, but I think there is absolutely a risk that this escalates further.
I don't think that Iran would like to make major attacks on Saudi Arabia or
close the Strait of Hormuz.
