But I think he's fooling himself when he thinks that he can actually overturn the regime itself.

And at the end of the day,

There were talks going on on a nuclear deal, and some people thought they were encouraging.

I think it's hard to be sure.

But he ended that process of those nuclear deal negotiations.

And I guess more broadly, I look back and the old JCPOA nuclear deal between Iran and the US and European countries

That was working.

That was constraining Iran.

And then Netanyahu urged President Trump to pull out of it, and he did.

And that led Iran to accelerate its nuclear program.

So I don't have much confidence in Netanyahu's judgments about Iran and the best way you can misjudgments in that regard.

Well, I mean, look, it's just you tell people in a city of more than 10 million that they've got to evacuate.

And it's in the middle of the night there.

There are gas lines.

They don't have fuel for their vehicles.

Many people don't have cars.

You know, it's preposterous to think that you're going to have a big city like that suddenly evacuate.

So it obviously adds to the fears.

And, you know, it's also...

I mean, one of the things that I see here as a lost opportunity is that so many Iranians are against the regime.
