And, and, you know, President Macron of France was,

talking about recognizing a Palestinian state, which was also certainly not what Netanyahu won.

This does change the conversation and creates, obviously, enormous fears and uncertainties about the risks.

It just escalates out of control.

I mean, Donna, I guess what I also think about is just the lesson that this sends to other countries around the world.

Since President Trump came in office, we've generally seen a degradation of what

We the U.S.

always called the rules based international order.

And, you know, look, this was hypocritical at times.

We tended to apply those rules more to our adversaries than to ourselves and to our allies.

But there was something to it.

And then when President Trump effectively sided with Russia in its invasion of Ukraine, I think that, you know, badly undermined that rules based international order.

And you had situations like Rwanda effectively invading eastern Congo, taking their cues from that.

And I think that likewise, when we have sided with or sympathized with Israel as it attacks or invades neighbors in what many people think are a violation of the rules of war, then I think that further leads to a kind of law of the jungle situation internationally and creates risks elsewhere.

There are lots of countries that have real problems with their

neighbors or nearby countries and might want to settle them.

And I think we're making it easier for them to do so.

And ultimately,

Look, the military toolbox can be a useful one.

We have to have that toolbox.
