Specifically because I'm not in a prep.
I'm training for the love of training, which feels really good.
Especially coming out of an Ironman prep that was so structured and high volume and high intensity and just a ton of training.
Not being in a prep right now feels really great.
And that fitness isn't my entire life.
and controlling my entire day and weekends.
And then I'm trying to build my schedule and my energy around fitness, but fitness is facilitating just a healthier lifestyle.
That feels really good, especially not having done that for a long time.
So what I actually just did yesterday that we'll see how this ends up working out.
You know, for forever, I've been wearing a Garmin watch.
But wearing a Garmin watch since probably 2018.
So maybe for the last eight years, I've been wearing a Garmin, tracking all my stats.
Every time I go for a run, I log that run.
Right now, every time I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is I...
I turn on my watch and I look at my sleep score and my sleep stats.
I look at how long I slept, how much awake time, my REM sleep, my deep sleep, my steps at the end of the day, calories burned.
I use my Garmin for a lot of performance stats that really just, in my opinion, are
at this point in my life, consume unnecessary energy.
Like when I wake up in the morning, I look at my sleep score, my sleep stats.
