But the NRL are a really good example where there's all sorts of ownerships from private ownerships through to
Teams listed on the stock exchange through to member-owned clubs.
So it is possible.
It's just more complicated.
History has shown that people don't rush with open arms to change.
So we are braced for the fact that there will be people that won't be happy about it.
We can't ask people to care about a team for 15 years and then ask them not to care and then just to say, okay, I'll stop caring now.
That's not how it works.
But there was backlash when the Stars and Renegades were first introduced.
People didn't like the names.
They didn't like the colours.
They didn't like the fact that Victoria had split in half.
They didn't like T20.
And so, of course, there is going to be resistance to something new.
It's up to us to be able to create a compelling story and a compelling club where people feel like they belong and that they can identify with that team.
And that's the challenge that we face and we're up for that challenge.
We're working on that actually.
So that's something we'll talk to members about particularly.
I mean, we've got members who've been with us for 15 years.
So we need to look after them and that's not lost on us.
