We're going to start to refer to him as the Dan Fouts of this era.
Well, I think most people are overlooking the New England Patriots.
Just think about how they have somewhat changed things in a matter of a year.
You move out, you know, Gerard Mayo, insert Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels, and Drake May looks like an entirely different person.
Oh, by the way, you go out and draft Trevion Henderson to give him some balance with the run game.
For me, the Patriots still is one of those teams that even though you can say, well, you look at the strength of schedule, you can say they didn't really play anyone.
But all I know, every time you turn on a game, they're playing well.
And they play Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills well.
They won one of those games.
But that shows you that that team has grit.
They can put up points.
And that is something that some people take for granted.
They don't think it really matters, the ability to score points.
We know once you get to the postseason, points are at a premium.
And sometimes they're not really difficult to come by.
But just knowing that you have the confidence in your quarterback, your offensive coordinators to put points on the board,
I think that accounts for something.
But I will say that the Chargers looked at, and I think a lot of people looking at the Patriots as somewhat of an easy win, because when you look at the number of sacks that they have on the season, it is not as large as maybe the Texans or the Chargers themselves or even that of the Denver Broncos.
So it seemed like an easy win.
