Only he knows what is most important to him.
And all we kept hearing in the beginning of all this is he wants to go somewhere to enjoy the last phase, year, two years, whatever it is of his career.
There's no place that brings more basketball joy, at least for the guys that are usually within that organization than the Warriors.
And it's because of Steph Curry and the culture that's been built there.
Yeah, but it would be a bunch of old guys who would be sitting together being like, hey, this is pretty fun.
We're getting paid a bunch of money to go play basketball and drink wine and play golf everywhere on the road.
So, again, like from a basketball standpoint, it doesn't make sense because you can plug LeBron on that team right now.
They're not good enough.
The core is not going to win again.
When Jimmy Butler went down, Jason, that was it for the Warriors.
It is a sad but true reality.
When you have a guy on your roster who's making about 60 mil, who has an ACL injury, that changes everything.
For as fantastic as Steph still is, Steph has a chronic knee issue.
And I think he knows that he can look great for two months next year and you can go, oh man, he's still awesome.
But there's going to be nights he wakes up and he's like, what is going on?
And he's not going to be able to play.
So it's just the reality of pro sports.
The Warriors have had an incredible run.
It would be 100% the most interesting story in the NBA next year if he did land there.
But if you want to win and you want to go try and win one more title, the Warriors aren't the place for you.
