You know, now that the North Pole is melting.
Like you said, all these sea routes are opening up, the Northwest Passage, Northern Sea Route, the Transarctic Sea Route, and Greenland is going to be really good real estate.
And the reason Trump wants it is because if Denmark owns it, they can't defend it.
If they can't defend it, China's going to take it.
I mean, they got designs on it.
and control the rates for ships moving through our passage.
Well, and I think more importantly, if it's not our clay, China and Russia won't take it seriously.
Just like with Ukraine.
Ukraine wasn't a NATO member, so Russia tested.

Greenland is, well, it's Denmark, but it's semi-autonomous.
Is it protected by Article 5?
Will Washington go to war with China if there's an incursion in Greenland?
