But something has changed, and what has changed in the United States, and it's already reflected in the UK, or we can look at the UK and look at our future here.

They're not just trying to rob you of your moral legitimacy anymore.

Now they're calling you things which suggest that you're a threat or that you're committing an act of violence purely by existing or expressing your opinions.

And when someone goes from trying to rob you of your moral legitimacy to trying to characterize you as an act of threat, what they're really trying to do is they're trying to justify their excuse to use violence against you.

And you see this with the UK with respect to arresting people over what they say.

Pretty innocuous things on social media in the UK can get you arrested.

And that's the part that we need to be concerned about is that they're not going to be satisfied with robbing you of your moral legitimacy.

They want to be able to create a moral framework where they can commit an aggressive act of violence against you and pretend it's self-defense.

Well, it's my father who was LAPD, and he saw some changes that were happening in LAPD early on.

And I remember there was a time where I was going to get out of the military and join, and he goes, don't join the LAPD, Nick.

I said, Dad, you love this department.

Why not?

He goes, I'm watching it change before my eyes, and you need to understand something.

People get the police department that they ultimately ask for.

And what they're asking for in a lot of these major metropolitan centers is they don't want brave men and women that are going to go out and prevent crime from happening or punish bad people.

They want social workers.

And what ends up happening is they're going to get a department where they're going to get this sort of department where the sort of men and women that actually want to go out and defend the innocent no longer feel comfortable working there.

But the sort of people that want to be social workers with a gun.

or the sort of people that want to be able to intimidate people that don't think the right way, they're now going to be the ones enforcing the law.

And they're going to enforce it very selectively.
