Snow and ice reports continue to come in across the plains.

Over a half a foot of snow has already been reported along with ice up to three-quarters of an inch across northern Louisiana.

Accumulation expected to continue to lead to widespread power outages and major travel disruptions that will last for several days.

And if the snow and ice weren't enough, there's a chance of severe storms across the Gulf Coast on Sunday afternoon.

The main threat looks to be strong gusty winds with a brief tornado possible.
