Whether it's Brian Flores, whether it's Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, or Niners defensive coordinator Robert Sala.
The first question to all of them has to be, who's running your offense?
What's the offensive scheme going to be?
So like, do I have the answer to that question as to who Flores would bring?
Here's what I can say.
And this is a knock against him if it's him.
Offensive coordinator in Miami when he was the head coach was a revolving door.
It's like he'd have to nail that and you'd have to feel good in the interview process with his answer to make him the coach in the same way you'd have to feel good about Jesse Minter or
or Robert Sala or another DC.
So that is Donnie.
It's a really important question.
I don't know who the answer would be.
And if he gave a good one, I would make him my head coach in Pittsburgh.
I actually wanted my team, the Giants, to hire him.
And then we hired Harbaugh, and he's bringing over Todd Munkin, and now I'm drinking the blue Kool-Aid big time here.
But I think Stefanski's a great coach, two-time coach of the year in Cleveland.
Not his fault that the owner brought in a quarterback who didn't fit his scheme at all and wants Stefanski wants to run.
My guess is that he ends up in Atlanta with the Falcons and working for Matt Ryan.
I think that's where I would put the smart money right now, Stefanski in Atlanta with the Falcons.
Yeah, I'm very enthused.
