So I guess you can find a beautiful home in a great part of, you know, coastal, in the coastal strip around the 550 mark, you know, for a first-time buyer.
So there's still great opportunities for first-time buyers to get in the market.
Look, I think there will still be great buying opportunities.
The forecast is that rates will go up, so that might soften things a little bit.
But I guess the first-time buyers are still able to get into the market.
Their mortgages are going to be a lot lower than someone who's looking at buying a property around the million-dollar mark, which is what you're paying for a good quality home in the western suburbs now.
You're looking at around about a mil.
So I think the first-time buyers will still be actively buying and investors also from interstate.
So I guess the market will still move forward and do well.
It might not be as hot as last year.
Last year we had a lot of interstaters moving in.
But I think judging by how things are going in January and February, we're getting good sales.
The market's still strong.
Auction clearance rates are over 80%.
