Excited to be here.
Yeah, it's been great, obviously, to get the deal done and not have to go to arbitration is nice.
And yeah, I'm just excited for this new opportunity in Pittsburgh.
It's like a fresh start, so I'm really, really pumped and can't wait to get to Pittsburgh.
Yeah, I made a good point there.
It's nice.
I think I haven't really, for my full time playing in the NHL, I've yet to have another season under contract.
So that was really a big focus for me was to get some term and to kind of just time to kind of just settle in and give me time to get some runway in Pittsburgh.
And I'm happy the way it turned out.
I'm really excited.
Well, to always be ready, like you said, Toronto, we have such a talented team and, you know, we get in the mix with some players and, you know, you know, I had to be on my game all the time, whether it was with Chief or Kiefer in my first full year.
So I always had to be on top of my game.
But again, I think it's always a blessing in disguise because you can't get complacent, whether you're up and down the lineup, you got to work your way to either get up in the lineup or just stay there.
So that's kind of been my experience with that.
Yeah, you know, I had a great conversation with Musi and Kyle.
And when I got traded to, I talked to him right away.
And basically the message was, obviously, it's a new opportunity, a change of scenery.
And, you know, they got, you know, obviously some guys have gone into Pittsburgh as a change of scenery and had some success there.
So kind of replicate that.
