The other thing that McSweeney admitted was that he, Keir Starmer, the government, hadn't really got a plan when he won that election, and that not enough had been done to think it through.

I'm assuming, am I being naive, that perhaps Andy Muran didn't start thinking about what he might do as Prime Minister two weeks ago when he became the MP for Makerfield.
He's he's been thinking about it a while long.
I mean for literally years ever since he became mayor of Greater Manchester, in a way he's been thinking, Well, if I ever got the top job this is what I'd do.
