It is so cool seeing the different walks of life that come onto the podcast platform every week.
So that's how it kind of got started.
That was the background for it.
We really are.
And the cool thing is as well, like, when it comes to experiences that authors encounter as well, every experience with a debut author is unique.
So some won uh unpublished manuscript awards and then managed to pick up a publishing deal with that.

Some people custom published first and then
found their way in, which was a similar way that I had with my debut novel.

And the answer that that was also kind of one of the reasons why I wanted to to do the podcast was because I wanted to show here are the ways that you can potentially get in.
And that the key thing to do is actually, you know, first of all, finish that manuscript and then explore m the many different avenues and options that are open to you.
Because there are so many.
Different books, different genres, different categorization.
Every single time you you have those books and they come out into the world, there's also different publishers that are pushing particular angles, different agents who are looking for specific things.
There are literary fiction agents, there are romance agents, there are sci-fi agents who love that sort of stuff.
And that means that your journey to publication is different for every book.
