And then the more advanced script is a very personal one to me.
I grew up in country New South Wales.
And so I have this book for me is set in country New South Wales.
It's kind of a an examination of memory and how we associate memory both with place but also with
the environment around us as well.
What are the connections we have to place?
It's the story of this young girl who comes back to this farm on the shores of Lake George, near Canberra, after a a family accident.
And as she kind of prepares to deal with the repercussions of that accident,
She starts kind of
Pulling on a string of things about her family, because her family has been in this place for generations.
She starts pulling further on it and discovers a whole bunch of stuff that.
really makes her reconsider what being part of this landscape is.
And it's more of a c also a question of
How much do you let memory define you?
I'm absolutely terrified of the book because I know it's a decent idea.
And so the the little writer brain in the back of me go is going, ha ha, you have to do it.
And the good thing is that this year I've made a decent amount of inroad into it.
So I'm hoping to get that manuscript finished soon.
