Then obviously his career got disrupted by the the the the long ban over the betting incident and uh I thought he showed some good things at Newcastle and perhaps this is a fresh start he needs again.

And I do think he's one of those players who thrives on responsibility.
So I don't know if he's ready to say he'll be a leader of this team, but I do think that Desertby clearly has a plan for him and wants to say, Hey, you're the guy and I think that'll be good for him.
