and Ava Balthazar is a poet but this is her second novella so she's done I think the first one was called Permafrost and I think there's a it's part of a series of exploring the inner world of different women all in the first person now I say that because I remember when we interviewed we had a show with Philip Pullman and I don't if you remember the thing that really struck with me is he said I hate first person books when I open them and I see it's first person I throw them away

And I have to say, generally, I feel like that, too, because I feel... Do you?

But it sometimes can feel a bit YA for me.

I'm not quite at Philip Pullman level, but I thought it has a bit of that in it.
