But the month month by month is a real thing and um August I think is is a is a challenging month in a lot of ways 'cause you're you're deep in it but there's a long way to go and then September you're starting um
to get into the into the really special stuff.
And I think just how you frame it is is really important.
Um it can be a time that, you know, feels like more in a way that can be can you if you allow it, it can be stressful, whether it's individually wanting to finish strong or get to this and that and that those are traps.
Or as a team, you know, feeling playoff race or this or that um whatever narrative, but it's more than anything
think it's an opportunity and I think that you know that's kinda how guys have been phrasing it internally and it's um you know you can play a long time in this league and not have this kind of opportunity in front of you with a team you actually believe in with an incredible opportunity to, you know, host playoff games and um
make a real run and so uh yeah, it's a nice combination of e excitement and gratitude, um, just to attack everything ahead of us.
Yeah, I mean it it's an important month in that we you know, we made some pretty significant roster changes and obviously the you know, the starters we've added have added um
huge, huge improvements to our group and um we had a a tough tough three series coming into this one as far as as results, but as far as like the group structure and where we're at, I feel like we're in a a really strong place and um
And it's exciting, yeah.
Who
VJ is our um commissioner.
For those who don't know, VJ is our technically our travel secretary, but he basically runs the Chicago Cubs.
If you're a fan of the Cubs, you're a fan of VJ.
Um his most passionate part of his job might be as commissioner though, so he's he's fired up.
We have not drafted.
We are drafting I think Monday it feels like a long time from now, but it's soon.
Monday in Milwaukee.
I think we play a day game and then we'll get a little conference room and do a draft together, which is perfect on the road.
