And that comes from hitting line drives.
Yeah, I've probably only thought opposite way in about two at-bats this year so far.
A lot of times the ball just goes there naturally with how I swing, but a lot of times when I think to the opposite field, I just am late and hit foul balls and...
None of my work pregame is to the opposite field.
Yeah, it's pretty much something I never work on, to be totally honest.
No, not really.
There's some situations, but... Yeah, honestly, when I get more situational is when a lot of things break down and I over-manipulate at bats and...
I think when I put my best at bat, it fits most situations and really trusting that.
Yeah.
I probably haven't really done that much since college, honestly.
I definitely hit the ball to all fields in my work, but I think forcing the ball to the opposite field isn't something that's really been helpful for me.
My best swings to right field are when I'm looking in the middle of the field and I just happen to catch it a little bit deeper, but I'm still making a strong move.
It's so individual.
And there are times with two strikes where I'm absolutely seeing the ball deeper and looking the opposite way.
And that shows up with two strikes.
So I guess that's not totally fair.
But it's rare that I go into it at bat and I'm like, oh, I'm going to hit this ball to right field.
That's a very rare situation.
Yeah, a lot of it as I've gotten better is parts of the strike zone that I handle better than just looking for balls and strikes.
I think when I really limit myself, I'm generally covering strikes and I put a lot of borderline pitches in play before two strikes that sometimes you get hits, but they're not really driven and, you know, not any slug there and you're not walking.
