But I think in in baseball too, you like you get applauded for matched

you know, showing up the same way and, you know, you play every day and you kinda get in that rhythm. matched

Um, it's interesting 'cause then I think you can go kind of too far that way where you're a little bit robotic and like you can lose some of that like um matched

So it was kinda interesting reflecting on that and just kind of different places the game puts you in. matched

Well yeah, I mean I mean neither of my parents were really matched

had any aspirations for their kid to be an athlete or expected that at all, which is probably why I actually enjoy what I do. matched

But um they yeah, there was definitely a certain point for my mom where she matched

And that was different than probably the directions she saw for how our family would spend summers and things like that. matched

I mean I was you know, catching and I think it was the last time I ever caught and uh matched

The I asked the umpire to scoop back, he wouldn't, and so instead of hitting the ball, the hitter just hit my hand. matched

So I broke my left hand, um had a cast for you know a little fracture, you know, three weeks, month, whatever it is. matched

But uh in the meantime, I continued playing, uh which meant hitting with just my top hand. matched

So I was using a lighter bat than normal, but I was up there top hand. matched

Yeah, wasn't playing any catcher obviously and then no infield because I couldn't backhand the ball. matched

I could only go underhand, so I was playing center field like this, and then I was still pitching because I could catch the ball from the catcher and I could throw. matched

Um but you couldn't I couldn't squeeze. matched
