Just talking the game with with your teammates around you and sometimes I kinda go into my own little
uh in the in my own little shell um on the hitting side and um it's just fun to bounce ideas off of off of other people and kind of holds you accountable to to other things and it's a great feeling when you're watching the game you know what your teammates are working on and then you see um show uh show up in the game and it's part of being in a what takes baseball from being sometimes kind of an individual sport into a real team setting like that.
Yeah, I mean I I think we we have a group that like genuinely really genuinely really likes baseball, which sounds sounds silly and maybe obvious like, hey, why doesn't everyone, you know, feel that way?
But like we have a group that
of guys that are deep in their career but still just enjoy, you know, hanging around in the cage and talking and talking after games about different situations and things like that.
And it's it's made for a a group that's just gotten closer as the year's gone on and um makes the day to day ins and outs a lot more enjoyable.
Yeah, no, I I had a little bit of of outfield time.
When I was in double A in twenty eighteen, I would do a thing where I'd play two games as short, two at second, two in center, and kind of rotate around.
And obviously the big league team at that point was was so loaded on the position player side having
you know, versatility as a young player was, you know, just a part of giving yourself a chance to get to the major leagues.
And you know, we've s we've seen that with Matt Shaw and Pedro and and other guys that that's a huge deal.
Um but, you know, I think I maybe would have been able to do it, but I don't I don't think the outfield was my calling.
Yeah, I felt really removed from the game, honestly.
I felt felt very far away.
I felt okay in center, but uh actually the corner outfields were a lot tougher just with how the ball
had a lot more hook and slice and especially I regularly with the wind and the walls and it's a tough, tough stuff out there.
