Kind of surprised me about the piece.
They sounded like they were more mature.
So you think like, OK, you can have these conversations and sort of advocate for what you want.
And it should.
It's all going to be fine, you know.
A hundred percent, I would.
Now, I'd have sort of bare minimums.
Like if I was somewhere like Costa Rica, I'd want air conditioning.
I think that's a sort of a basic thing.
So you'd want to stay somewhere that's clean, safe and has those basic amenities.
But in a country like that, you want to go and do the excursions and see all of the incredible things.
I think she even references this in the piece, but you're not going to be there again.
So you want to make sure that you're seeing everything.
You're not flying halfway around the world without the budget to go on that incredible snorkeling trip or day trip on a boat.
You want to make sure that you can still do those things.
There's nothing worse than getting somewhere.
And I've had it before being on holiday with someone and they hadn't budgeted enough or they thought that money was sort of miraculously going to fall into the account before we got there.
And then we've arrived and I
friend was like yeah I've budgeted about 15 euro a day and I was like well what are we gonna do that's not even lunch so I think yeah what did you do did you did you split off on your own then well it was just the two of us so uh no um it was a little trickier but there was sometimes I was like well I want to have a really nice lunch so I'll just buy us lunch you know and ultimately at the end of the day
