So many people ask me about, you know, how is your economy doing, inflation?

Housing market in New Zealand people care about and ask me about.

Um and I ask them about, you know, how it's looking over there because

So it's important for me to understand these are many of our ex export markets.

So it affects our agricultural sector, our exporters,

Well, given how uh volatile the global economy has been, it's really good to see that the exporting sector is performing so well.

And it has surprised us on the upside in the data that we have.

Um and we do think that, you know, the June quarter uh will be a bit weak, but the exporting sector

has been strong and we do expect this to spread across the economy now and have benefits for also other parts of the New Zealand economy.

Yeah, we do expect to see b basically zero.

There is some seasonal effects, so it depends on whether you include them or not.

But we do expect to have se have had

flat growth in the second quarter.

We're now in the third quarter and we're seeing growth growth resuming quite well, you know, particularly then exports and manufacturing and even tourism and is is improving, but also signs that the domestic economy is recovering.

And that's what we're looking for, because that's the broadening of the growth that we want to see.
