For so long as I've been in Cabinet, we've approved the travel items.
But the point is, there's just a process where you take it through the Prime Minister's office first, you formalise it in a paper.
And then later, of course, we report on what we did on the trip.
And it's about respecting taxpayers' dollars.
It's about respecting the fact that if we're going overseas, it needs to be to serve New Zealanders, not just because we feel like travelling internationally.
And I think the formality of the process supports that.

And look, let's hope that it holds.
That would be good for the people of the Middle East.
It would be good for the world.
And it would be very good for New Zealanders, not only when they're at the pump,
but for our economy as a whole, because lower fuel prices equals a stronger recovery.
Well, my view is that the forecasts which Treasury shared at the Budget show that the steps our government's been taking are actually making good progress.
