And the difference with this obviously is that the Gardaí have no awareness that Kirwan is under threat from them.

So they have a tip off in relation to the James Gately and they're able to put the cars under surveillance.

They're all over them for that.

But in this case, they do not know the evidence that we're getting on this is evidence that they collected in the aftermath of Noel Kirwan's death.

They have prosecuted four people in relation to the Noel Kirwan murder and this will be the fifth.

Now, Bernadette Rowe, who was Duck Egg Kerwin's partner, wrote a letter, victim impact statement, and handed that into the court just for the judges to see.

But Donna Kerwin wrote a statement on behalf of herself and her brother Christopher.

And both of them were said to be present in court and asked for it to be read out.

So she did that and the girl told her that they were working on her father in an ambulance.
